Happy Sunday night!

This will be a new series under La Vida and I want to post what I have learned, whatever it is, words, phrases, sentences, etc, during a period of time by reading Harry Potter books carefully and thoroughly.

This is the ZERO part of the whole series, which functions just like a pre-face or a brief introduction, showing what I would like to include in the series.

I had been self-teaching Spanish for a year and I didn’t think I had reached my expectations, so apparently I needed to change, either the method or the materials, or both.

So I got this idea: I am still a fan of Harry Potter so it would great if I could read the book again, this time in Spanish though. And I would try to translate the Spanish into English so that I could improve my Spanish while reviewing the English. Well, I think I have found my own way.

My goal for the beginner stage is that I will finish Harry Potter book 1, the philosophical stone, hopefully in 2022. The first chapter took me almost two months and the time was worth it. Next chapters will be a little bit faster.

Thanks for reading and following!
