Days Calculator: Days Between Two Dates

Well, long time no see…I checked the time when I wrote my last review, April 3 and I have skipped the review part for over three months. I have to say this is not about procrastination — I just forgot it. XD

There were a few big things during these three months: a very belated commencement ceremony for my master program at UC Berkeley, moving to a new apartment and cleaning up afterwards, preparing for a certification exam at work and finally passing it, etc. Wow, pretty busy! Overall the life went on according to my original plan, fortunately.

Part 1: Emotion and lifestyle

So I was able to move to a new apartment and started to embrace my new lifestyle. The new place is loosely occupied with relaxing quietness and exposure to nature. I am very satisfied and have better sleep at night.

I feel like I can finally calm down and focus on myself as there were many distractions before. For now, the Sun rises as usual and things are getting better. Yeah!

Part 2 : Work and after-work studies

Good news is that I passed an intermediate certification exam last week and got a badge verified to share to my LinkedIn and other social media, which is another milestone to my customer-facing career. This has also inspired me to think about what else I can do to improve the occupation. The status is TBC but the result can be very promising.

About Spanish I did not do as much as I planned. I just invented all the time after work into the exam preparation. And now I have the rest of the year to do other things on my bucket list.

Part 3 : Adventures!

I did have some time off for a 1/2 day trip.

On July 4, I went to San Jose to see the Independence Day parade and meet a friend. And that’s the first time I took trains in US. I have also been told that US is a nation on wheels and since the train has wheels too, I can say “a nation on (train) wheels” .(This is a cold joke which may not be funny at all but I like it! XD) And I would say San Jose is definitely “ center of the Universe” because the price there made my eyes wide open. The parade was incomparable, because technically I had never seen other parades before. There were so many families on pedestrian lanes, playing, laughing, BBQing and watching parade. And I haven’t seen that many people, except in Time Square, NYC, which is also a proof of “center of the Universe”.

Then yesterday I went to Walnut Creek for Spanish food and shopping. It was super sunny and over 100 F in the afternoon and it turned out that I only bought a cup of frozen yogurt and a bottle of sparking water. I might be insane going there yesterday afternoon or it was just because I did not check the weather forecasts the day before LOL. A great experience in a natural air fryer!

Thank you for reading and hope you all have a great week ahead!
