The river is clear enough to mirror the clouds. When you are the only one standing there, it’s really hard not to melt into the quietness and become part of the nature.
Next is to visit St Mary’s Cathedral in Limerick city center. My favorite part is the colorful glass windows that show different people in bibles. I don’t even know how to make these figures as vivid as if they are painted.
After the visit to the Cathedral, I was invited to the karaoke party with a group of girls. The day is not complete without a decent dinner! We found this Asian restaurant with a very good Google rating and it has Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese dishes. It’s Asian which means chopsticks are available. It was such a funny thing to teach my European girlfriends to use chopsticks…well they turned to spoons and forks in the end. I ordered beef short rib pho and it was very tasty and satisfying, especially in a windy cold weather.
Tomorrow is Sunday and the weather forecast says it will be raining all day. Good luck with me and please no rains when I go to grocery store.
