It’s a cloudy Sunday but at least not raining. Nice! XD and this means good timing for grocery shopping!

There is really nothing around my accommodation and the majority of the campus so I ‘m required to take bus to go to the shopping center 3km away. After getting off the bus, I tried to find the nearest entrance, possibly close to the bus stop. But no, the only entrance was hundreds of meters away. Basically I needed to go along the longest side of that rectangle shopping park to enter, and came back to the cafe where I could grab coffee and pastry.

That’s by no means convenient for a pedestrian! I was not really used to it: as in California, the shopping malls are always equipped a huge parking lot with tens of entrances. Well the parking lot is so open that I even doubt if an entrance is necessary.

Anyway I ‘m not in California any more so have to adapt. Maybe this is reason that European people are fitter then Americans in general? Is this another reflection that American culture is still open?

Another luxury on the day was the breakfast (?): 9.65 euros for a cup of peppermint tea, a scone with butter and jam and a lemon curd tart. Not really sure if I mentioned it in an ironic way…

There were also deals!

After grocery shopping, I went to walk around the campus. This small fountain looked super cute!

Happy Sunday!
